PCO + Steroids in pregnancy

Hi,I am 27yrs old and only had 2-3 periods all my life.Over the last four years I have been having tests for polycictic ovaries, at present I am having treatment to try to ripen follicles but with no luck. I have 3 sister all normal periods, one has children. I have recently found out my mum had steriod injections during her pregnancy with me to mature my lungs, is there a link between steriods in pregnacy and PCO. Did your mum have steriods during her pregnancy with you? would love hear from you.

not that i am aware of. my mom didn't have any type of steroids when she was pregnant with me. in fact women who develope pcos, are normally the ones that are overweight and also started their period young. i was only 11 when i started my first period and i was already a B cup in a bra (embrassing in school, but got better in high school)  and my doctor advised me any girl under 14 who starts their period has a greater risk of having pcos. my mom started hers late at 16. its just one of those things.
