I'm sorry lindamirella
I cant give you a professional advice I never tried to get pregnant never been on fertility tratment neither the effexors & I have absloutly no idea what its side effects on pregnancy or the baby, all what i can say is that you should always consult more than just one Doctor.
wish i could help more
I wish you all the best :)
its nice to hear your stories...ive posted some questions, but gotten only few answers, hope you can check at it. well, one again with pcos,23 yr old , trying to conceive. been reading about pcos, and also got sad and depressed...
its very frustrating sometimes when you think you wont have or its going to be so difficult to be mom.
but the only thing im doing is trusting in our Lord. thats the only hope i have.
God bless you all girls...hope to hear from you and hope you read to my question. hope to get some answers, and help.
bye, linda
I, too, am a mom of 3 without fertility treatment. I was 31 and heavy (about 172 - 5'4") when I conceived my first. My PCOS was diagnosed at about 28, and I only took BCPs to make sure that I would have an occasional period. Don't assume that you will have problems - after all, stress makes it harder to conceive, too!
betty... thank you you made my day :)
the fact that you have PCOS & 3 children is so inspiring :)
I have PCOS I was diagnoesed 4 years ago & i'm only 22
I'm not overweight i'm only 114 lbs & 5'3 ft
& the fact that i might not start my own family is killing me
Don't listen to anything about fertility treatment until you have tried getting pregnant unsuccesfully for six months. I have three children and PCOS and all without any fertility issues. My faith in God and my trust in His sovereignty is the only "treatment" I needed. I also have a friend with PCOS who spent thousands on fertility and the only times she ever got pregnant are when she wasn't using fertility treatments.
Also I am sure there is an anti-anxiety drug you can take during pregnancy that is not harmful.
