will PCOD cause infertility

after marraige,if the girl is suffering from PCOD will it cause any problem for conceiving..? if it causes any problem,is there treatment given for furthur conceiving.....?if there what are the treatments given and how long will it take?please inform thank you

PCOS is the number 1 leading cause of infertility in women, however if treatment is started...then sometimes the symptoms can be reversed. And then, for some they don't have any problems TTC and others do. It really depends on some factors: are you overweight or normal weight? do you have cysts on the ovaries or no?
Sometimes with diet, if overweight it can reduce the symptoms of PCOS. Those of normal weight normally have a bit harder time, because diet doesn't do anything. I suggest to seek advice from your gyn on this for further treatment.

Yes ..you will face difficulty conceiving if diagnosed with PCOD.But then it depends on how mild or acute the PCOD is as it varies from person to person.But good thing is there are treatments definable for overcoming these issues.Best thing is they test your hormone levels and based on the lab test results of these,a treatment paln will be offered to you.For Ex.if your FSH and LSH hormones are out of sync,then you may be put under Metformin treatment.
