Same here , i did try to conceive for over 3 years , and still trying first mi dr give me small dosage of clomid but was no effect for me than i start injections menogon still no luck , i have resistance at insulin , mi hubby have bad result at semen analyze .
I decide to do a IVF + ICSI , first ET fail and now i am on 2ww with FET .I was tired of trying and trying with allot of pills that dn't work for me .You can visit a IVF clinic and do a IVF + ICSI
If i knew at bigging that will teck me so much time and many spend on dr, and medication i will definitely go direct for IVF+ICSI

Hi alanna here i was no perIods at all and had scans and blood test it was not untill i started to get hair on werridess part of my body verry agroumentive and pain at my overies that i had to go on books to find that it was pcos so whent to doc to let them know they did more test to conform that it was pcos that was 2005. i was sent to a specailist after doing test on my husband he has xxy in his jeans so we were trancferd to hospital for ivf the waiting list was 3 years long.2009 had my first try was neg second was sucssesfil but misscarred 2 month ago. i recon you should try vitex sold chasteberry it helps with you ovolation and can take the cemicails out your blood stream. give it ago.stay way from smoking and drinking also watch what you use on cleaning days as cemicails 6 months of nothing but food and good juice and milk. your so luck to gt drugs to help you i got nothing untill ivf. am not over weght or under weight i am 30 years old and 9 stone 5.5 ft ha they say it is janetic
thank you for helpin ....The hospital has put me on metformin for PCOS and provera to start my periods and been told to see how i get on with that my partner has been havin test done and has a very weak sperm count so i no its gunna be veri hard to conceive but i hope that these meds will help again thank you for you help x
It sounds like you would need to try a progestron to get your period started and maybe clomid to help you start ovulating. Without those or help from a dr you can be trying for yrs!!. Its really hard to get pregnant on your own with PCOS since you dont ovulate and without ovulation theres no way your getting pregnant. If your overweight from your PCOS it can help to loose some of it. You can also be put on metformin to help control the hormones. And for your partner he will also need to see his dr to get help with his problems. Basically you both need to see an RE or an OB about this to get help.
