Thanks for your comment. I aprreciate your answers and it helps to hear everything even the stuff I don't want to hear.
When I was first dx'd w/PCOS I wasn't getting my period at all, unless they induced it with provera. I went months and months and would have to go to the doctor to get progesterone prescribed so I'd get it. I can't tell you how many pregnancy tests I went through back when I wasn't even TTC! I think this is a pretty common symptom of PCOS - since your body is producing male hormones, it makes sense that it stops behaving like a female. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you all this - I know what it's like. I've been TTC for 2 years now - I'm about to do a cycle of injectables and IUI. I really hope you are pregnant. I know many women who had negative HPT's for weeks and weeks and turned out being pregnant - so there is hope! The only way to be sure is to get a quaNTitative bloodtest. This will measure exactly how much HCG is in your system and can detect very small amounts. It can indicate if you are perfectly pregnant or if there is a low amount which could indicate a problem, or if you are not pregnant at all. Most docs only order quaLitative tests, which suck because you have to have a certain amount in your system, so it really only gives you a yes/no answer and doesn't account for any variables.
Good luck!!
