Stupid people!

Here's my rant of the day. The bf and I took our son out today to meet more of the family. He's two weeks old so we haven't been out much and decided today was the day to venture outside of our apartment. We went to visit his aunt who asked if I had him naturally or csection. As soon as I answered that I had him via csection, she started laughing and called me a big baby for not having a "real birth". Excuse me? She wouldn't even give me the chance to explain that I had to have the csection because he was coming out face first andthe cord was wwrapped around his neck. If I tried to have him vaginally, the doctor said the possibility of breaking his neck would be huge. So obviously I opted for the csection. To top it off this was the first time I met this lady. I had a csection for the safety of my baby. How dare she judge me. Ugh. Rant over.

People should not judge how a baby is brought into the world. They should appreciate all that you had to go through to make it happen. Vaginally or through a c-section, there is a beautif baby to show for it. That is all that matters.

I'm glad you ladies  understand! I'm super emotional and it kinda pushed me over the edge. At least my bf saw and told her that we had to leave. But the whole thing was really upsetting.. I don't understand why someone would think that they have the right to judge other lady's for the way that they had their child. And to top it off the doctor thinks that he would've beento big for me anyways! They expected a 6 pound baby.. he ended up being 9 pounds 3.7 ounces, and 22 inches long. she even complained that I was in her "favorite seat." That isn't my fault. Her husband told me to sit there! And this is why I don't like family get togethers.

Ugh, people like her make me so mad....I heard similar things from people because I was so "young" when I had my son and had to have a c-section .. little did they know I had to have a c-section and always will.. the woman in my family can't deliver vaginally our cervix is to high and we don't dilate to give birth.. I was in labor for 3 days and finally after being stuck at 3cm for three days they told me I would never be able to give birth vaginally ... It really hurt me that I couldn't but I had such a great c-section and recovery that I don't mind having another one :) ...congrats on baby and don't let people upset you when they don't even know why you had a c-section !
