I didn't think he would.
He is comfortable where he is. He'll come when he's ready.
Thank you so much ladies. He still hasn't come yet but it's okay ill wait till he is ready
Marii, I presume this is your first baby. Please do not stress or worry. Being 4 days past the due date given to you is nothing. Most first babies come late and it can be up to 2 weeks late.
Do not worry, because your midwife or your doctor will be looking after you and listening and checking the baby closely. It is usually around the 10 days past the expected date of birth that an induction is considered and only if the baby is getting stressed. Your baby will be closely monitored whilst he is in your womb.
Please remember that the date you were given is only an estimation of the date of birth. He will come down when he is ready.
My daughter-in-law's 6th baby was born 2 weeks late and came on her own.
I was threatened to be induced at 10 days late, but in the end my waters broke in the middle of the night and as I woke up to a warm wetness in between my legs, I shot to the bathroom and stood over the toilet with a torrential waterfall pouring out of me. He was born 14 hours later.
Each pregnancy, even with the same mother, is different. Just be aware of what type of symptoms you may get.
Don't worry, and make the most of your time before the birth and prepare everything. Rest a lot with your legs raised - you will need your energy after the baby is born.
I presume as you are referring to the baby as "him" you already know the sex of your baby.
I wish you a speedy delivery. Don't forget that when the time comes, to listen to the advice of your midwife.
Best wishes.
Thinking about going into labor and stressing yourself about it will make it harder on your body. Your body knows... So just do stuff and keep your mind off of the idea of going into labor and everything.
I know it's more exciting to go into labor naturally, I wish I could have with my first, I didn't have a good experience but not because of getting induced but because the way my body was working, ended up with a csectio , but i know so many women who get induced and have good experiences, they break your water, start your contractions, same labor experience, it'll be okay if you have to get induced. Good luck hun, don't stress, baby will be here very soon. Enjoy the rest of your belly time, you'll miss it!
Most of the time its normal to get induced with your first baby and to be overdue with no signs , i was overdue and i was only 1cm and that didnt change at all so i ended up getting induced . you'll be fine :) try not to stress about it
My son was 10 days over due. Being induced is not bad. You'll just do what you have to do. It will be okay. Hang in there.
get a ball or bounce on the edge of your bed, try to get him to move down into the birthing position, go online and look up what kind of exercises you can do
Huni if u do get induced is not as bad, I know a lot of women have bad experiences with ir but it was induced with my boy and it was ok.
Have u at least lost your plug?
