That's funny that your gf seen your post lol.....but the best way is to just come out and say it ....it seems like you both have a good head on your shoulders so it shouldn't be a huge deal.....I wish you guys both the best of luck though :)

I was nervous to tell my father so what I did to lighten the mood I had a ultrasound done two weeks before my father came into town. I sat at the kitchen table with him and the rest of my family and handed him the ultrasound....as it turns out he took it really well. He was very happy i told him although he was mad he found out last lol CONGRATULATIONS and it'll go fine.

If it's so difficult to do it on your own, maybe you and your girlfriend could tell them togther!?

Besides, they may surprise you and be super-excited!  You won't know until you tell them.  Good luck!

Just tell them. I was 25 when I found out and was STILL so nervous. I just went for it. My mother was excited, and my father was....."meh", but he came around in a month or so and is now waiting to meet his first grandson. You seem to have a great relationship and that baby will gets lots of love. Congrats to the both of you!!!

I would find a fun way to tell them to ease the tension everyone might feel.  My friend told her parents with a quick game of charades and it was a hit. Her family had a game night weekly so it was perfect.  You could also give them some sort of gift that says something like worlds greatest grandma and grandpa. So your not actually saying it directly but your able to convey the message effectively and in a way that would diffuse anger if there were any. Your a grown man now and able to start your family. It really doesn't matter how they feel about it.  In sure if they are unhappy initially they will warm up to the idea of being grand parents.  I hope you can find a fun and unique way to tell them the good news. Congrats!!!
