My kids names now are Alicia and Alaina (pronounced Alayna). With this one if its a girl it will be Alyssa and if it's a boy it will be named after his daddy, Javier.
Wow. Didnt know my post would get so much activity. When I said normal or weird names I wasn't meaning it offensively. I just meant different. Lets control our hormones.
Have not had no trouble so far. I have put her in school already and everyone in her class is named Sophia, Sophie, piper, Harper and stuff like that. I know how it feels to be one of many I went to school with a lot of girls that shared my name and the rest were Brittany, Amber, Jessica, jamie and so on. I swear there seemed to be only five girl names for like two years, all I could think was could our parents not come up with something better. I looked baby names up online, I started with my oldest daughters name and it gave me names that would make good sibling names. The names I picked had not been on top for many many years but most of them seemed to be popular the year I picked it. Cynthia is my oldest and I named her after my mom who passed. She has not came across any other kids her age with the same name but lots in their 40-50's. My kids all love their names, I hated mine at that age.
My daughter is named Emily Suzanne. If this one is a girl, she'll be Lillian Grace. A boy will be William "Liam" Earnest IV.
I'm going to name my child something unique as well common names are over taken.. like one said earlier it's like five kids with the same name in the childs same grade... My baby will not just fit in with the same name crowd she will stand out ina good way.. An someone said names should be around five letters even common names have more letters than that.. but I guarantee my child or any future children I have won't ever be named after a car or drink uhh I hate that... But hey people can do what they want it just won't be me..
Not to burst your bubble but there was actually a TV show with 3 sisters, 2 of which were named piper and prudence. 3rd was phoebe. Hope it stays unique for you but you might end up seeing that name more often than you think
