Does your morning temp differ from evening as far as ovulation goes? If someone is pregnant, will it make a difference in taking your temperature if you don't know what your normal temperature is? Forgive me questions if they seem silly, just trying to get this whole thing.

You Very Well Could Have Ovulated Late. So Many Things Can Cause You To Ovulate Late. Maybe Wait A Couple More days And Test Again. Or Try And Not Think About It. Sometimes That Works For Me If I Just Forget About It Af Normally Shows Up.... Do You Normally track Your Cycles To Know When You Ovulate? If Not I Would Start With Tracking Your Temps Every Morning.

Hi ladies:

This is my first time here. I'm also waiting to find out if I'm pregnant. Husband and I weren't really trying but we were preventing either. I haven't the foggiest about CM, temperature, etc. so I don't know when I ovulate. I'm 34 (35 on 9/28). My last period was 8/16. I took a pregnancy test because I have been having nausea, dizziness, tugging in abdominal region, and mild backache, and tremendous fatigue. I've also been on a wild hormonal roller coaster with mood swings to boot. I've taken several pregnancy tests. The first one showed "positive" (2 lines). I started jumping and celebrating but then I looked at it again, that line was GONE! My nerves are just about shattered. Husband is on deployment somewhere in the deep blue sea, so I'm almost to the point of pulling my hair out (or screaming). I'm hoping to have a "steady positive" before I call to make an appointment. I'm so Not patiently waiting to go to the base hospital where they do mandatory blood test. Argh!!!

TKS basically all you do is take your temperature first thing in the morning as soon as you wake up before getting out of bed or anything... No drink of water, no potty break, no talking lol nothing. Just take your temp with a thermometer (I like digital) and write it down on either a cycle chart or download an app on your phone (if you have a smart phone) that is a cycle tracker. I use ovuview on the android market but everyone is different and you just have you find one that you like. Also like Steph said med help has one called my days....  Anyways you can track all sorts of things on them if you want... you can start any time in the month but its best to start at the beginning of a cycle. Anyways you will see when you ovulate and based off previous cycles it can normally predict when you will ovulate. So yes I think we have very similar cycles. Do yours normally run a little longer around 32 days then??? You might pick up that book that I recommended to Donna. Taking Charge Of Your Fertility. I loved it. So informative and a quick read. Has tons of information and you can get it on amazon or ebay for normally like 6$ or something like that. Anyways anxious to see how the next few weeks play out for us all... :)

Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to let you know that MedHelp has a few tools for you to use in trying to track your cycles and fertility information.

We have ovulation trackers that are very easy to use.  Here is a link:

We also have an app called My Cycles.  Here is a link for that:

This is all so fascinating to me! I've been reading and following alog since August. I'm a 28 y.o. female, who has been trying all summer to get pregnant, never really knowing anything about my body or ovulation... I've learned sooo much through this one group alone! I've gone and read through the "mybeautifulcervix.com" site, fabulous work I might add!! I still don't understand what any of the abbreviations stand for.. Anyway, my partner and I have an amazing sex life - up to six times a day, everyday! God, I LOVE him! :) From the beginning of August until last Tuesday (long distance relationship). Neither of us have ever been pregnant, never tried - until now. We are both healthy, confirmed by health tests. I'm not due for my period until next Monday or Tuesday, my last was Aug 23 & I am very regular. I have a lot of the pregnancy symptoms though! (According to this discussion and this app.) This week, I started bleeding every morning when I wipe after my first pee. Bright red, watery/discharge blood. Then it disappears after the first wipe. From what I understand, that is normal for implantation, right? My breasts are tender to the touch and nipples are more sensitive, but I know that this can sometimes be a PMS symptom as well. I've been having backaches all month long! Last week, it was like a burning ache in my lower back, although I know degenerated disks runs in the family, so I don't want to get my hopes up. Headaches and nausea are also common for me during and around my time. Both are current symptoms. Plus the extreme exhaustion. Does anyone have any advice? I've had a lot of discharge all month with spotting (pink & brown) for the past two weeks, it all stopped yesterday morning during the day, although it is there first thing in the am. Is this normal girl stuff or do I need to see a doc? I've never had between periods spotting. Especially not as much as these past three mornings... Feeling confused as to what my body is telling me. Feeling scared at all the possibilities. Cervical cancer does run in the fam. Am I just overreacting? Or is this legit?

This is probably a dumb question but how do you temp? With just a normal thermometer? Haha.

I just ordered the book!  Thanks for the suggestions.  I've started temping again and mine was 97.18 which is normal for me but low for being preggers.

I'm definatly nott pregnant, infact i'm pretty sure i'm ovulation haha. Last night when I wiped there was a monster chunk of brownish mucus like what I had last month. This is only the second time i've ever had discharge like this around ovulation, it's just weird to me that now I know I must be ovulating and my periods are light and spotty.. The sudden change in discharge makes me wonder if I ever was ovulating on a normal basics. It doesnt sound like anythings wrong with my baby making parts does it? I'm 21 and never been pregnant. Other than a chemical pregnancy in May.. I've also never seriously tried getting pregnant though.
