drugs while pregnant

I just found out I'm pregnant I'm about 6 weeks. I have used substance but have stopped will effect my baby ??? I'm very scared

It's hard to say. Any amount of drug use regardless of how long can damage a baby. Because vital organs are formed in the beginning of pregnancy, this is the time when most damage can be done. It's wonderful that you stopped, however you need to speak to your doctor and tell then what you were using, how much you were using and for how long. Just saying you used substance doesn't tell too much, and could be anything--- Your doctor will also be able to get you the help so that you will be able to stay off of these things while pregnant and after the baby is born. My first appt is the 15 th I'm very scared but for the most part a take prenatal pills eat good drink a lot of water get my rest hopefully everything is ok

Depends, u need to talk to ur OB ASAP!!! Tell them everything so they know what to do to help u n the baby
