If you have Netflix, I highly recommend you watch this documentary. I learned a lot I never knew before. I'm kind of upset after watching it because there is no possible way I could ever have a home birth because I'm so young. It just really scared me, I don't want to have to get induced because that usually leads to a c-section and I don't want a c-section! :(

Lol I knew what u ment. If thats the case I still wouldnt let my parents tell me what to do with my baby.....but if your under 18 im not sure if u have a choice I guess....

Why dont u want a home birth?  I'm 21 and am having one. Just cuz ur young doesnt mean u cant have a home birth.  That movie is really good btw I really liked it.

The documentary is meant to inform not to scare you. It's just making you aware of what can happen. The cascade of interventions they discuss can be avoided even if you are induced or chose to have an epidural. Check your hospital for statistics about c section and forceps or vacuum assisted births. That will give you an idea off what to expect to have to stand your ground on.

I watched it last week, and unfortunately its too late for me to have a home birth, but i feel very strongly on not using medications or nothing. So when i take a tour of my hospital, i will deff be letting the nurses know i don't want medicine, forceps or any kind of suction assistance for my baby. And i will fight and stand my ground. Don't let them scare you, thats what they want you to do, freak out.

I loved it I just found it informative and it let me know about options I never knew I had. I'd never considered a natural birth but as soon as I watched that I knew it was the choice for me
