:( ugh this makes me so mad

I hate when people complain about having to go to school or work. I wish I could work and go to school so bad, but I can't because I'm in constant pain(I can't even stand for longer than 5 minutes without being in tears) and took a LOA from school, and now I regret it because I lost my scholarships because I did that. People are so blessed to be able to continue to live their regular lives, however horrible they may seem, because I'd give so much to be able to start my spring semester along with my old classmates and work a full time job without feeling like I'm dying. Ugh :( I'm sad.

Yeah I guess.. that's what's unfortunate about the system, but if you ARE qualified and they cut your interview to less than 5 minutes that is just ****** up. Wish I knew how to get around that but unfortunately a lot of employers are assholes like that.

but it's not like it can actually be proven in court that they didn't hire you because you're pregnant. They can simply say that you were under-qualified or they found a better candidate nothing would happen to them.

Btw, not hiring you or giving you a fair shot just because you're pregnant is discrimination.

I have to be honest and say I am enjoying not being in school right now. I enrolled into cosmetology school, it was SUCH a long process, plus it cost $100 for my financial aid application, then after I enrolled I found out I was pregnant. I debated on going but thought I'd try it anyway, after a week I couldnt take it anymore because I was so exhausted all the time that I couldn't stay awake in class, and I had to leave class constantly because I was throwing up 7-8 times a day. :/ Now I owe loans for going to school for one week. Wish I would have just waited..

haha I wasn't complaining about any of the ladies on here. Just one of my friends in college posted something on her facebook talking about "shoot me, on my way to class".

Personally Im tired of complaining period because all the complaint posts eventually look like whines. Even mine. We're all in different baskets though and unless Im walking in their shoes I do try to withhold judgement on whether to think their complaint is reasonable or not.

Which, acline, at least you had schloarships - you can likely get more later. Im over the age limit for half of the scholarships out there so I deal with loans with my school. Thats hell on earth knowing there are at least 3 student loans out there with your name on them all. One of which you arent even using for the school yourd in.

Theres my complaint! Student loans thoss ******* sneaky ninja *******... Lol

Wow!!! You really are having a difficult time of being pregnant. And here I was thinking I was getting the worst deal. You're right, we should be grateful for the ability to do all these things. I'll keep you in my prayers.

You've got that right! Trying to find a job where you're not on your feet all day is hard, and then add a huge belly to that and it makes it so much more difficult. I had a few interviews over the last few weeks, but usually interviews are 20-30 minutes and these were less than 5...I guess because they saw my belly :(

I know! I've always been a very independent person, and having to depend on others, even if it is for a short time just suuucks.

I took a semester off of college to get married and move to a different state to be with my husband and I miss school so bad!! It's hard trying to find a school and job in a state you just got to and being pregnant makes it 100x harder but I will do anything in my will to allow my little boy to grow up and have a fun life!

I was thinking that this am when my fiances daughter and he went to work I told him that I can't wait to have our son so I can work and go back to school I feel so useless now and that makes me feel some type of way. I'm not rushing the birth of my son but a sense of normalcy is wanted. 97 more days :-)
