I'm a single mom and it killed me when I found out he was just going to walk away. And he did. For a week, came back and he was SOOOO excited then 2 days later he told me to kill myself and the baby. That made it easy for me to go on because just how dare he.  The fun part about it is that most of his family is excited and providing for my baby (: his dad bought the crib and clothes and clothes for me and everything almost.  Its great. I dont plan on letting him around my daughter when shes here. And I dont plan on letting her carry on a deadbeat name. So she will take mine.

I'm sorry you're going through this but remember all your baby needs is someone who loves her you''ll do your best for her and try not to worry about her father hopefully he'll come around and if he doesnt with time you'll Learn to play both roles the best way you can and like the other ladies said surround yourself with supportive people like your family. Good luck :)

Im only 16 & im 24+5 days pregnant! I'll be doing it alone cause thr father got scared & ran! Its hard to accept that he isnt going to be around but i believe everything happens for a reason! I have a great supporting family which will always be there for me & my son! Definitely helps more than anything when facing the challange of doing it on your own

Going to be a single mom with my first. Don't have anything negative to say I do ok for myself, have a big supportive family & the father is around. His military career has him moving often and I don't want that for my child, but he's been by my side every step if the way.

I'm in the same boat only my childs father has another baby on the way as well .. my family & I paid for everything I have . I'm sorry you have to go through this as well but as long as you have a support system & you love your child unconditionally you'll be fine honey. Its painful at first , it hurts & you always have those questions but as I said a great support system works wonders. I always think of the saying "it takes a village to raise a child". don't stress yourself baby needs you!!

My son is 4! His father does for him on and off! But it does effect him sometimes but i feel as if he will be okay in the future as long as i did my best as his mother then he would be fine His relationship with his father is another story his father is gonna explain why he wasn't around as much.

This is my first & I still talk to her dad but he hardly bring up anything concerning our baby. So far everything I bought came out of my pocket he said he's going to give me money to buy the baby's things but I don't wanna wait last minute. All I really want him to buy is the stroller & car seat. At first he wanted me to have an abortion but now he finally accepted the fact that I'm having his baby. I dont wanna get my hopes up. I just want to prepare myself to raise my daughter alone.

I have an almost 4 year old son and 19 weeks with another baby. I'm not with either  of my kids fathers and it hurts and its terrible. But it's for  the best. I cant give advice on how to cope I just know its best to take it one day at a time. And do your best. Kids always come first!
