getting really upset.
I'm getting really upset with my boyfriends family. I understand it's the first grandchild and they want her here now.. I do too. But I still have a week before my due date and they pressure me to do so much to induce labor. Walking I dont mind, but they dont get if I walk so much my pelvis starts hurting severely bad. Now they just tried to get me to bounce on a yoga ball in the middle of the living room infront of half his family. Im not comfortable with doing that and they dont seem to understand. She'll come when she's ready!!
also his mom talks like me and her are having this baby and my boyfriend isn't even in the picture.. its weird! She tells me how she's gonna get the baby this and that for her birthday but since its so expensive that's all the baby will get.. she's MY daughter. I think I can afford to give her a little more then one gift! And when she asks my boyfriend his opinion on things its like I'm not even apart of it.
We had this big debate because his family is catholic and I'm not. She wants to get the baby baptized in a Catholic church when she's born and everything and is upset that we're not doing it. Its not that I'm against her being catholic, I just think since I'm not, nor is anyone in my family it should be something she decides to do when she's older. Thats all.
I'm just so stressed out.

I agree. There are just some things his parents are so pushy about! My mom isn't really as bad as them, she doesnt try to induce my labor, she lets me choose the way I wanna do things.. his parents talk about the baby like its theirs! Its always "well what are WE gonna do when the baby gets here?" Or "WE just want the baby here." Or things like "When the baby gets here WE'RE gonna take her to do this and that." Like, they dont ask our permission, they just talk like the babys there's and its so annoying. I honestly dont think it bothers my boyfriend as bad as it bothers me. It drives me crazy!
If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't do it, especially just bc they want to. They raised their children, that was their responsibility, and now its your child. You're the mom now, you're the one that makes the decisions for your child until theyre an adult. I think we need to accept that we won't make everyone happy. My own family and inlaws are so pushy and controlling. I just remind myself that its up to me, not them, and that what I want MATTERS!

I'm having that problem with my in-laws they are Catholic and I'm not but this is their first GIRL and grandchild soo they are already making plans. I mean I wanna keep my hubbsy fam happy too she's gonna be a baby and I mean its not like she's being held in a devils church or anything lol so I said fine alsong as I don't spend one cent they can do it.
I understand how u feel Im going threw the same thing. As for the baptismal iv decided if.the time comes and my bf family makes a huge deal of it then i will just let them.do it. Its 2hrs out of my life and as she gets older she can make the choice for herself. For me its like why put up a fight on something like that if it will.make ppl shut up lol. As for when the baby gets here just tell them she will come.when she's ready so back off! Now.the perfect time to get a little snippy bc.u cam blame it on the.hormones.
Im definitely gonna go overdue if they keep stressing me out. They dont get it lol.
They've been driving you crazy these last few days! I hope it gets better! They're starting to get ony nerves lol I can only imagine how you feel. Tell your bf to stand up and say something
