38 weeks

I feel like I am going to be pregnant forever! I haven't been feeling any serious contractions. Maybe a few here and there but nothing consistant. The pressure is always there though. 2 weeks ago I was almost a 2 and my cervix was low. I'm hoping that my Dr checks me Thursday and I have made good progress and my baby comes early

I'm not saying he have stay in til 40wks, it's nice if baby want to meet you a few days early :)
I remember the back pain too and it only gotten worst now that I pick up and carry around this 13lb baby all day long. Plus I breast feed so the first couple of months baby pretty much attached to my boobs, not much difference from before except even less sleep and stricter diet.
Sometime I miss carrying her inside me :)

My Dr told me when she checked me two weeks ago she didn't think I would go over my due date, would probably go a few days early.  I am misserable my. Lower back is killing me all the time and the pressure in my vagina is intense. I know its important he stays in there but I just want him out already

My doctor told me most first baby go pass their due date and sure enough my dd come at 40wks+2. I was happy because that mean baby got plently of antibodies which happen during the last couple of weeks of your pregnancy. Antibodies help fight off germs and infections once the baby is born. Another thing happen at the end is baby build up fat under their skin too, so they can regulate their body tempurature better. Don't rush them mommies :)

Yeah I am due the 16th. I am hoping that I go before my due date, I have been trying everything I can to get things going.  I am going to ask my Dr this week how far over she is going to make me go if I don't go on or before my due date. She made a comment of not thinking I would go over so we will see.  I doubt she is going to check me Thursday but I am hoping. I didn't see my regular dr last week I saw the new guy cuz she wanted me to meet him just in case he was the one on call.

My son was 6 days late and I didn't even have a twinge of a contraction until the day before his birth and wasn't dilated more than 1cm a few days before that. So don't worry. All in it's own time. I sure know how you feel about being pregnant forever though! Been there too!

Is your due date the 16th? I am 38 weeks today. I have not been checked yet. I get checked tomorrow so I'm anxious to see my progress.
