I did yhe castor oil thing with my first child and never again. I was up and down in the bathroom (not peeing tho lol) then when that stopped the contractions kicked in and they were painful btw the stomach cramps from diarrhea and contractions i was miserable. On the bright side it did work lol

It could or could not work, it's not gaurenteed, I personally wouldn't do it because the miserable aftermath of pooping and cramping. But babies that are stressed will pass meconium in the womb regardless. So give it a shot with maybe some orange juice or apple juice (I wouldn't do any juice that could also possibly cause poop cramps). Just know that it's not gaurenteed to work!!! Good luck

My friend took it with both of her kids and had them within hours of taking it. She took it with Cranberry juice. She said that is what her mom and grandma both did and it worked for them. Drink alot of water also! Good luck :-)

You can refuse induction up to 42 weeks, you don't have to take castor oil, you're not even due yet give your baby a chance to show itself!

I personally wouldn't risk it because some ladies on here say they have actually had the meconium in the womb after taking it. Cud be coincidence but is it really worth the risk that its not for the sake of less than a week. I wud try and be patient.

Go a head its a myth that baby poops I. U from Castro oil. My aunt is a doctor, Castro oil is not the reason they poo, its because of stresd or baby is over due.. my aunt did it with all 3 of her kids and my brothers wife as well. But best to take 3 tablepooons like a shot and chase with juice.
