Am I just making myself feel pregnant?

First off my period isn't due until the 30th, this Wednesday.  But for the past week or so, I've been feeling very nauseous at night and though the night, and periodically through the day.  I haven't thrown up however.  I've been very warm, my breasts don't feel very tender but are enlarged and the veins seem more prominent.  Usually about a week before my period and the few days before I am very crampy, but so far nothing.
I am on Yaz, but this past month I've been very preoccupied with the fact that my husband is deploying to Korea in a few weeks, and did miss two pill in a row twice, one time coinciding with when I "should" ovulate.  Is it possible I'm just psyching myself out?  When I started to feel nauseous last week, I didn't really think anything of it other than I might have eaten something bad.  I've been taking Tums now and then, but that doesn't seem to be really helping.  I know that pregnancy tests aren't very accurate before you miss your period, I do have one already purchased and ready to use, I just don't want to try and use it too early.
Anyone ever make themselves feel pregnant?  I'm worried about it, since my husband will be gone.  But I do want a baby.

I feel the same way...I can't figure it out, metallic taste in mouth, terrible idigestion, nauseas, easily smilling everything, loss of appetite...Im not due for AF until 8/8 so its a long waiting game...

can I be?

Well, just to add on... I was two weeks late for my period this last cycle and I'm not pregnant!

Im also late for Af it was due today and im never late,i also never have cramps but today i am, i have symptoms also metallic taste in my mouth,nausea,super sense of smell. My husband had Fritos on his way home from work which is a good 20 min. drive i smelled them as soon as he hit the door!!!! Good Luck to you sweetie

Thanks!  I am very excited at the possiblity, even if it isn't good timing.  Maybe if I am my husband can trade orders with one of his friends for Germany or Georgia.  No one will trade for Korea right now, but how could they deny their friend the birth of his first baby?

And me too!  I can smell EVERYTHING!  My dog threw up in the other room and I could smell it before he even walked out lol.

I am in the same exact position as you as far as the symptoms!! I just posted my question a min. ago.  I am also due for AF on the 30th and I was dying hair yesterday and almost got sick the whole time and the smell was so strong! I have been getting symptoms for a week now (well since the 24th so not quite a week) but I am not wanting to test either since its just two days away.  I usually cramp very bad and not this month!! good luck to you i hope you get your BFP!!!!

Stress is also a big factor in making your period late.  The first time I ever flew to NE to see my (now) husband, I was supposed to get my period.  But with the stress of the flight (I got stuck in Houston overnight) and the excitement and nervousness of meeting him, it delayed my period by nearly a week!!

So with the stress of your husband leaving for Korea and the added stress of missing a few pills and wondering if you're pregnant could be holding AF back!

That said, there is always the chance you could be pregnant.  There were a few women I met that conceived even when they were diligent about using their birth control ...I even think they all used Yaz.  Perhaps it just didn't work as well with their body chemistries.

So if your AF doesn't show on the day it normally does, go ahead and use that test.  BTW, if you have a Dollar Tree near you, you can get $1 tests that work just as well as the more expensive ones!  Good luck and keep us posted!

It is very possible you are causing your body to feel this way! But you also could be stressing about your husband's deployment. Missing pills could make you pregnant... it's really hard to know what is going on!

You can take a pregnancy test when your period is due (when is it due?)!

I've made myself feel pregnant a LOT!
