when the mirena is removed the hormones need chance to leave your body, this could be messing your cycle up, plus if you are stressing about it that might not be helping either.
if you really think you are pregnant and have had repeated negative pregnancy tests, then i'd say request a blood test to know for sure!
its fairly complecated you can only concieve when u ovulate but sperm can like inside you for a bout 4 days dont hold me to that baby brains i carnt remember exactly how long it is alot of people ovulate 14 days before there next period i ovulated staight after my period i wouldnt have sex to often try geting an ovulation test kit to find out your dates or u can tell by your body temp having sex to often wont give his sperm chance to replenish its sel fully gud luck!
i was just wondering becuase i got the mirena out on april 1st and i havent had a period but when it was in my period would not stop.
Hi,
no there isn't always an egg waiting to be fertilized, some women may ovulate twice in the same month on rare occasion, but it's a very short window where the sperm can fertilize an egg before it's too late and a period will follow. I think having sex every other day or twice a day would leave me shattered after a couple of weeks! but seriously if your fertile days haven't arrived or if they have finished then having sex every other day won't make the slightest difference...it's more for fun then! :D
Chances are good of becoming pregnant however it can take couples who are actively trying up to a year to fall pregnant. In most cases you only have one egg come out a cythatand that is only during ovulation. During that time there is only a little over 24 hours in which the egg can be fertilized and you can become pregnant.
