Don't worry! I also had the same. My doctor told me 9/10 placentas lift. Mine lifted by the following appointment. I also made the mistake of googling.

I was diagnosed with this at my 20 week ultrasound when pregnant with my second child.  Yes, the internet is scary when they talk about it but remember, they are talking worst case scenario.  The VAST majority of women diagnosed mid pregnancy with placenta previa (which is the placenta being right on top of the cervix or very low) will have their placentas lift. Mine did.  If it doesn't, then they will do a scheduled c section.  Try not to worry about this if you are not in your last month of pregnancy.  Again, most women have this situation resolve on its own as their pregnancy progresses.  good luck

I had it early in pregnancy. Most cases it goes away. Dont worry. Worst comes to worst youll get a c section

Me too. Mine didn't lift and I was disappointed to have a planned c-sec but in the end was fine. 20 mins in and out and a really good recovery. Can't even see my scar and everything down below is in ship shape! Have the same thing in this second pregnancy but I'm not bothered now if the same thing happens. Good luck.
