Baby hiccups

Hi ladies, I'm 32 weeks and I have what probably seems like a silly question, but I'm a worry wart I guess. It seems like the past 3 days every time I feel the baby move he  gets the hiccups. Is this normal? is there anything bad that could mimic the feel of hiccups? It was cute at first but now all I can picture is him in there gasping for breath.

i worried also, thinking about how sore my ribs hurt after a while of hiccuping and wondering how my babys ribs were feeling... i asked Dr and she said not to worry. since theyre breathing in fluid, it doesnt hurt them a bit like it does us, even if she has hiccups for a long while.

Oh my goodness, my baby gets the hiccups all the time too!  Sometimes 2 or 3 x a day & every night when I lay down to sleep.  It's getting kind of annoying now  cuz it feels like I have a heart beat in my vagina! .. he's head down.

My lil man has hiccups sometimes up to three times a day, I asked my doc she said that's gud it means his brain stem and everything else is growing properly. So don't be concerned, I'm sure when my baby is born he'll have them often as a newborn too.

Its not silly to ask....its just baby practicing breathing. Its a good thing, apparently means nice strong lungs. Its cute until they do it for ages and are bouncing off your pelvis or bladder...then its not quite so nice!
