I had a csection 6 years ago and let me say It was very painful! Im having a scheduled csection Monday, and everyone is telling the second time is worse? And takes longer to heal? For mommies who have had more then one is this true?

Definitely, with my son it was overnight, with my daughter it was like 9 hours after birth, painful, but helps a lot!

Yeahh im sure everyones experience is different! But it still scares me! It was very painful the first time, but i didn't get out of bed until 2 days later im definitely requesting them to let me get up faster!! I heard the faster you get up the better!

I believe everyone is different, my second c section was horrible it was so much more painful than the first one, but that doesn't mean you'll have the same experience. Good luck

Ohh no!! The 2nd time is WAY easier!! My first was after 12 hours of labor with no pain meds and I needed an emergency c-section, it wasn't too painful, definitely painful but nothing horrendous, however I had just gone through 8cms with no pain meds, to get a c-section anyway, so you probably could've hit me with a two by four and I would've thought it wasn't that painful, haha! But I got pregnant again 4 years later, and it was SO much easier, significantly. I was off pain meds within 4-5 days, and felt almost completely normal, besides lifting, within a week and a half.. I felt pretty much normal by 2 weeks PP. I was worried with scar tissue it would hurt more and take longer to heal, my doctor said that 2nd c-sections actually heal better and faster, and that was true for me! Make sure you walk as much as you can without overdoing it, and don't stiffen up, and take medicine every 4 hours as scheduled, even if you're not feeling pain for the first week or so, it's a breeze the 2nd time! Good luck hun! :)
