Babyshower Expense?

I'm 22weeks+6 (first baby) & my husband wants to host my baby shower but knows nothing about them & he's been talking to his female friends to help him out. I think it's cute he's going to do everything but his only concern is how much money will be spent. About how much money did you mommies spend on your babyshower or plan on spending? And at how many months would be good to have the baby shower?

I couldn't log back into my pinterest account probably end up making a new one but that sounds like fun having something for the guys to also have a good time.

I'm doing mine it's next weekend and I'll be 36 wks I've spent maybe 600-700 but I'm hosting it at my house and the hubby is getting a diaper party at the as Mae time so the guys can be drinking outside playing games and the ladies can be inside drinking wine and playing games! Everything is black and white zebra with pink accents also pinterest ideas but alot of my own creations! It's fun planning but I should have done mine sooner it's to hot and I'm to pregnant!

Ladies try using Pinterest they alot if ideas on afforodable showers. Thats what helped me plan a " babyQ " for my godchild

If you don't want anything big that's fine all baby showers don't have to be huge I'm having trouble planning mines I'm also 22 weeks and 6 days I don't even know the first thing to planning a baby shower

I don't want anything big because my friends all live an hr away so they most likely won't come & I don't have any family. All the guests will be his family & friends who are helping him out with my baby shower. My mom used to take me to baby showers with her up until I was 12, I don't really remember so I really can't give him any ideas :/

$1000 dollars?  I wanna cone to your babyshower lol jk and im budgeting about 200 for mine

Might sound a little crazy but I am a budget queen. Im budgeting $1000 but that includes venue, food, favors, decorations, and games. Although I probably wont spend all of it bc Im always comparing prices for the cheapest deal, Im still setting it so I know I cannot go over that amount

Generally the price is worth it. You can do it cheaply to like hicken salad sandwhiches, pasta salad, chips, cupcakes..ect.

I don't know about money because mine are getting thrown for me. (One for my moms side and one for my boyfriends family side, his side doesn't seem too encouraged to mingle with mine -.-) but I wouldsay aaround 6 or 7 months. You want time to get the stuff you don't get, and make returns, but you may also want to look nice and rotund for pics lol.
I can't give an estimate on price, but make the snacks, look up some cheap games, you could even make some cheap little goody bags, I'm sure you could find decorations cheap at the dollar store or something haha. Good luck
