I wasn't raised with either parents and I found people I saw as mother And father figures. So never felt truly parent less :) but as our baby grows don't try to hide the reasons why dad isn't around it helped me knowing at a young age

I'm a single mother ... the father and I were just friends. It's difficult at times but I have a great support system in my life.

I was essentially a single Mom at 18 too. My family was incredibly supportive and they were all I needed to get through my pregnancy and raising my son. Your baby will have everything they need in you and although there will be times when you doubt yourself or just sit down and have a good cry because you're tired it will all be worth it!!! Your baby will come to know and appreciate everything you do and thats something no man could ever give you. Best of luck!

I'm pregnant with my first child as well. I'm 22 and I work at Chrysler. I know that I'm going to be the best mom that I can possibly be, but at times I do wish I was raising my child with both of her parents. what's the best thing to do being a single mom?

I was practically a single mom with my first. The dad was with me we were even married. But emotionally and financially he was unsupportive so I did everything on my own and finally left him. It's not that hard. I kept sticking around because I thought I needed him but I didn't.

Awe im sorry to hear that. But like they say things happen for a reason. He sure will be having to pay that child support girl. I'm not a single mommy but I'm sure you'll be a great mommy to your baby. Much love     bump
