Congrats!!! Our boys were born on the same day :) hope he.is doing well.
Congratulations momma! Had my girl at 34 weeks and she was perfect. Your son is going to be just fine and healthy. Babies are super strong fighters
I had that same experience with my first son I had him at 35 weeks. I didn't get to hold him because they had to rush to his care because he had fluid in his lungs,it scared me because I didn't hear him cry! He was 5lbs and he had to stay in nicu for two weeks because he wasn't eating on his own! Today he is 3yrs old will be 4 in January and he is so healthy! Also I wonna congratulate u on ur baby boy!!
Aww Congrats on your baby boy !
Congrats girl! Glad lil carter is doing well!
Thanks! Yeah with my first daughter I got the epidural too late. I asked for it too late and my daughter came too quickly so I had to feel the epidural but it didn't kick in until after she came out so I had to feel the entire birth. But with this baby boy, my water broke and the contractions got stronger faster and because I requested the epidural early, I had it in quickly. The epidural itself doesn't hurt too badly. It's a strong stinging and pinching in your back but trust me it's way less painful than the actually contractions. Once you have it in place, you can press a button to pump the medicine as you need it for pain control. Your lower half goes completely numb and you can't get out of bed until you've delivered. Downside is you get a catheter for your urine since you can't get out of bed but you don't feel that at all because you're numb. You can still feel the pressure when it's time to push so you're not completely senseless just painless. I was sooooo happy I got it. With my first, it was such a painful, horrible experience. Worth it no doubt but painful. Bad contraction the whole time, epidural too late and stitches when she came out at almost 9 pounds. With this one he came smoothly, my pain was under control from the start and I didn't tear or rip or need any stitches at all. Good luck mama!!!
Wow congrats :) wat was the epidural like ? U happy u got it :) FTM here
Awww that's so exciting! :) I wish you the best of luck for you and your baby boy! :)
Thanks ladies!
Carter Russell Kamakoa Lampley.
He's got a mind of his own haha. He's one mixed baby with lots of hair. He's Hawaiian, Puerto Rican, Portuguese, Chinese, Irish, German, Mexican, Caucasian. Such a mix. Haven't got to go to the nicu yet because I'm still numb from the epidural but hopefully first thing in the morning!
Congrats! I hope all is well with him, keep us updated! Did you already have a name picked out?
