aganist baby shower

I'm not trying to be mean or rude, it's just a thought.
Last year I had a trunk party, I spent a lot of money on it and nobody showed up except my mom's family and that's it!
This year I'm pregnant.....I'm due in Sept but I like to plan early and also my parents are renewing their vowels. Is it rude or selfish of me not to have a baby shower because of this, because I promise you.....if this happens again but to my child, I'm going to go ape S.ugar H.oney I.ce T.ea!!

In my home city no one makes themselves baby showers, family of the pregnant woman make them a baby shower. .. there's no one that can give you a baby shower without you having to make one yourself? I personally think someone should do baby showers for the pregnant woman, being pregnant is already a lot to deal with & planning your own party is too much

You don't have to have a baby shower.  Your Baby will still love you.  You will still provide the baby with the necessities.  It's Just really fun in my opinion and looking at the tiny outfits they gift you are so exciting.  But ultimately it's your choice. Good luck! (:

I dont see why not wanting a baby shower would be rude or selfish at all. It's your choice.
