So I found a freakibg tick on my tummy this morning and now I'm just itchy all over from paranoia. Like I think all the ticks are after my preggo blood. Can't stand bugs :/

I hate ticks so much!  A few weeks after my last baby was born, my daughter who was 3 came running up to me all excited telling me she had an umbillical cord too just like her sister.  I go to look to see what the heck she was talking about and shes got a tick attached inside her belly button.  I screamed, luckily her daddy was there to be calm and deal with it without freaking my daughter out more!  Thinking about them makes me itchy too!

Your welcome I hate spiders and I seem to always run into them like a month ago I was sleeping and happened to open my eyes and eye level was a nasty spider like it was just watching me sleep

Yes. If you snap the body off you can pour olive oil over the area with the head and it will release from under the skin and you can remove the head without pulling on it! Just in case your animals ever get ticks now you know! :))) and OMG the Mosquitos are so bad here too yuck I just spray my clothes with OFF before I put them on

Thanks :) I just hate ticks and fleas and lice. I get so paranoid the thought of them makes me itchy

I hate bugs! (spiders especially lol ill strip search my whole house everyday) but mosquitos always had a thing for me. They would bite me like 50times and i would get really swollen! They love the back of my knees and if i get four six bites there they swell up so bad i cant bend my knees anymore. I think ticks live on pets?! Maybe check ur pets if u have any....i dont know much about them. I think if they are in there fur u have to snap the body off and take the head off gently so it doesnt hurt your dog....or cat. At least thats what i was told by a friend. I have no idea if it works or not though

I'm from the hills of Arkansas lol I have had probably a billion ticks since I was born. as long as the head isn't left in the skin you're safe but no it had just but me when I found it

Did it inbed in your skin??? If it did and If I were you I would take a trip to the doctors to make sure it wasn't one that carries lyme dieseas cause I was just reading about a 5 year old that died form a tick she was on a family vacation
