mrssandefur lol i dont know about "once you told a person how to spell it, it usually sticks" i went to the same school my ENTIRE life and my name was ALWAYS spelled Rachel and its Rachael. Even my friends would spell it wrong once i told them. Yeah its a common misconception but i also agree with spell it however you want just because i like all the weird spellings, its makes them different. (:
I like Addisyn also. I also like the way you changed the spelling. Lots of people are using Nevaeh now.
Oh my goodness spell it the way you want! And no I'm not saying that because I am.partial to the name. I'm saying it because once you've told a person once how to spell it it usually sticks, and besides, I found that spelling for "Addisyn" online and.in a baby book.
We were going to.name this one Addisyn Elexa Layne if it was a girl. So I have to.say I'm biased to Addisyn
Addison.
Naveah kind of reminds me playing albums backwards to hear voices. Know what i mean?
Ya spelling like it sounds is always easier. I know its the rave to make new spellings but for her entire life will have to spell it out and correct people. Ya nevaeh is becoming all to popular to fast. Of the two tho addisyn is better. We decided on Adalynn Rose for our girl.
Please do your child a big favor, and if the name is going to be pronounced the same way as "Addison," just spell it "Addison." (My friend Lynddsey told me this once.) Otherwise, the child will always have to correct others. I was one of those kids who always got asked to repeat my name and/or spell my name, and it was really hard on me as a small kid.
i really like the name neveah. but eck. SOOOOO many people i know have named their kid that just because its heaven backwards. I really like Addisyn (: im actually pretty sure its on our girl name list. haha. its just something you don't hear very often, and that's the names i usually like the best!
