Daddy struggling with a "could be problem"

I'm a daddy of one. A 3 yr old boy. Momma is expecting and like many others, we are super excited. We went into the ultrasound room for our 20weeks. After the ultrasound tech was done and the doctor came in, he proceeded to tell us the news. Everything was good excepted the humerus and femur. Femur was 4 weeks late and bowed slightly and the humerus was bowed. Everything with blurry. Shock set in and I couldn't focus. Is it nothing or is it everything? Is it a bad reading is it DS, is it dwarfism? Is our baby going go live? We are scheduled to see a specialist and maybe know more. I've read a little on the short stuff but the bowed is what's worrying me and my wife....anyone have this reading and have a story to tell? We need some guidance for sure.....

Also with the bowing. I have bowed legs to a degree. I have struggled with ligament issues my who life where my knees pop out of place whenever they feel like it. It is getting worse with pregnancy and at 34 weeks pregnant I have to be very careful. But my legs hyperextend backwards at the knees as well as bow outward. I just have to be careful not to overdue it. I've had surgery on both my knees by the time I was 23 just to fix the popping issue. It all stems from my legs not being perfectly straight. I never could do sports but hey that's really ok. As long as I was healthy that's what really mattered and that's what matters for your baby.

Try not to read to much on the internet. While its our friend its also our greatest enemy because we alaways read to much into things I think. I am very guilty of it trust me! But wait til you see the specialist and go from there. You are going to love your baby no matter what and will learn to adapt to whatever circumstances are handed your way. Even if something is not forming corectly doesn't mean it can't be fixed later on down the road. You will get thru this but sometimes its hard to really know until the baby is born. While ultrasound is very helpful and insigtful sometimes it can be incorrect. thankfully your baby is healthy and that's what matters right? you will get thru this as people always dl but just take 1 day at a time is all you can do and stick together as a family. It will definately help. Prayers for you and your family.

No dwarfism in my family but 35% dwarfism is from parents with no prior known history so the thought is still there. Will be seeing specialist Wednesday. I'm electing blood test and all be fine but no amino. I don't think the risk is worth it for us. I will keep all posted.  Thank you
