Depression

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice... I'm 24 weeks and I feel so depressed alot. Depressed about the father not being there, being on my own, wondering if I could even raise a baby when I'm only 18 and never wanted to have kids... I still live at home, so I feel that everyone is going to get annoyed with the baby... I just need some reassuring advice..

I told my doctor, he recommended me to see someone and I got an appointment but skipped out on it. I've had depression for a while before pregnancy and it was bad at the beginning but I feel like its a part of life if your not happy with the way things are. If you feel suicidal Id talk to someone though or if you just want someone to talk to and you think itll help.

If you're really depressed then yes you should definitely talk to your doctor but most new moms feel like you're feeling I know I have had my depressed moments but I just think about my unborn son and the joy and love he will bring me

I'm sure your family will be there for you. I'm also 18 and who knows if the father will walk out any minute. Be strong your family will always be there. They might get annoyed but they will have to deal with it, and help you. I hope everything goes good for you!
