Difference between EDC & EDD?

My due date was originally on Dec 18 but now they told me my edc is Dec 13, what exactly does that mean?

When you found out you were pregnant they calculated your due date based on the first day of last menstrual cycle, since you have had an ultrasound they know a more accurate due date by measuring the baby and what stage your at.

The real due date is what the doctor is telling you based on an ultrasound and measurements instead of calculated the first day of your last period. Or Estimated date of conception.

It basically means the same thing. Estimated date of confinement vs estimated date of delivery.
