I recently filed for divorce and there's nothing I can do until December when my baby is born my soon to be ex agreed to every other weekend. If y'all can agree I don't think its a problem but if not settle it in court.

..well you here in NC you have to be "legally seperated" for a year then file for divorce, but if mom breastfeeds the mom has "birth rights" for the first 2 months all the dad is allowed is visitation, then partial custody kicks in

In the divorce paperwork they will set visitation. Idk what the laws are where you are but here in KY you can not file for divorce until the child is born. You can file for legal separation but that is it. I would go ahead and call a lawyers and see what the rules are in your area. You may be able to file but not go to court until after baby is here. In divorce papers they will set up child support, visitation, medical support for baby etc. but do yourself a favor and when they set child support immediately go to your child support office and have all checks go through state that way he and you is protected.

You could always go to a mediator.
