Worried

I don't want this to come across wrong so I'm going to try and word this as simply as possible.

I'm curious if you ladies think my hormones are getting the best of me and if I'm just being ridiculous. A good chunk of the moms both here and that I know personally around me that have had their little babes in August so far have had c-sections, most being by emergency because baby was too big to fit through the birth canal. And as happy as I am for them and as exciting as it is to be able to see these ladies so happy with their new additions knowing I haven't got much longer myself (I'm 36+6) I can't help but feel worried I'm going to end up in the same boat and have a c-section. I know every pregnancy is different and every woman is different but I'm just so stressed about it and I'm hoping I go into labor on my own this next week so baby doesn't grow much more (she's already at least 7pounds give or take) so that I can reduce that risk of it happening because baby is too big.

Am I just crazy here? No one on my support team (boyfriend/BD & mom mostly) think I'm gonna have a problem and they think I'm overreacting but That doesn't work to relax me =[

I worried too with my first. I think all ftm worry about how iys guna happen and what it feels like. I was anti c section too and scared to death when they told me i had to get one. I was shaking in fear but once it was over with it really wasnt that bad and prefer it this time over labor anyday. Im sure 7lbs isnt too big as of now just watch what u eat these next few weeks so baby doesnt gain too much weight to have more control over the.situation. Good luck hun ull be fine

My sister just had her baby naturally, and he was 10pds 7ounces.. a 7pd baby isn't "big" if our parents and grandparents could have 12pd baby's naturally and be ok we can to. It just depends if you have a good doctor,

i didn't want a c-section either, my waters broke and i didn't get contractions, so i had to be induced,  and had my baby out without a c-section..just tell your doctor that you don't want a csection that they should try getting the baby out with a vaccum first, and then if that doesn't work then the only way is to get a c-section... i was there, on the bed in hospital after being induced, having horrible contraction, had an epidural which didn't work, couldnt push the baby out, so the cut me down there and tried getting him out with the help of the vaccum, but at that stage i didn't really care if i was going to end up with emergency csection, cause i jiust wanted him out! and the vacuum thing worked.. i was so glad..don't want to have a huge scar around the bikini area :(

Thanks. I just see everyone delivering via section and Im thinking oh my lord I'm almost next! A family member of my manager at work was due about 4 days before me and went into labor the other day and my manager told me at work that night they're taking him by section cuz he's too big and he came out 7lbs ish. And I'm happy for her I really am, a little jealous my little one is choosing to cook more when my body and mind are ready to get it done with but I'm happy lol I just don't want to have an anxiety attack in the delivery room over it since I have anxiety attacks over things like getting dental work done and getting a shot lol my meditation stopped working to help me relax now that I'm closer too

Its normal to worry especialu when your so close to labour but honestly dont fret the things u cant cotrol. If you end up needing an emergency.c section then the end resuly is still the same...a healthy baby. Just stay positive i dont think ull need a csection. They can only estimate babies weight right now and moat the time they are wrong. They tell ladies all the time that their babies ae too big and will have yo have a c section and babe comes out 6-7lbs. This happened to about 5 of my friends. Just enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and go in planning to have a natural birth.
