implantaion bleeding

i had spotting a couple days ago.i have been ttc for a year now with my husband. The second day of very light spotting i had sex again,i researched all over if i should be having intercourse while bleeding.but after we did i wasnt bleeding...at all i checked with a q tip.do you think sex interrupts that process?
secondly i have a regular cycle usually every 28 days.so i planned my ovulation peak and made sure after we did it i layed there for 20 minutes lol.and i had been using progesterone cream for the whole month twice a day.the 12th of dec is when i experienced spotting and my period is not due for another week & a half.shall i wait to take a test? would there be ANY other reason i would be bleeding???if not implantation?

Implantation bleeding doesn't always mean your pregnant. I've had it 3 times. You can get confused with this type of bleeding it could be another problem like cancer etc.

Make sure you dont use the progesterone cream until after ovulation, you shouldnt be using it the whole month.as for imlantation bleeding its not that common i myself in all my pregnancys have never experienced it,do you chart by any chance, this will be a great help to you.just because you have a 28 day cycle it dont mean you will ovulate for definate on cd 14,this is why they recommend charting..many reasons can delay ovulation.i would wait at least another week before you test, dont be too dissapointed though if it is negative, its still early.best of luck.

I never had any implantation bleeding when I was pregnant (either time). Every woman is different and some have implantation bleeding and some don't. The rule of thumb is that on a regular 28 day cycle, you will O 14 days before your expected period. It takes another 6-10 days for implantation to occur. After implantation occurs, your hcg levels then start doubling, so the soonest I would say to test is 4 days before your expected period. If you O'd earlier than CD14, then you could test sooner.  Hope this helps and I hope it is implantation bleeding :) Good luck and let me know how it goes :) *SSBD*

Implantation bleeding hopes played mind games with me for about 5 of the 10 months it took me to conceive.
For four of the months, I'd have spotting and then AF would show up -- I was devastated every time. Then in October, I spotted at 11 DPO. Figuring this was my typical "I think it's implantation but it's really AF on the way" I cried and gave up for the month. I got my first BFP the next day!!

So, I can't really say. Many months I thought I had implantation bleeding, and it turned out it wasn't...it was just AF on the way. Then I had spotting and thought it must be AF, and I was pregnant.

This is probably confusing you more than helping, but the point is, don't put too much thought on implantation bleeding because (at least in my case) spotting can mean both AF or pregnancy. Just like cramps, etc. Frustrating huh!?

If you have regular 28 day cycles (I did not) and you are spotting around CD 10 -14, then it's probably ovulation (a little blood from the egg poking through) and that's supposed to be a big sign of fertility! So I def. would have sex and wouldn't think sex would interrupt anything! And it probably just stopped because it's not supposed to last long...just a few spots, etc.

as for when to test...
I got a faint line at night on 11 DPO and a BFP the next morning on FMU. So try testing around then!

SSBD on you! Keep us informed!! Good luck.

could be ovulation too. I also had the cramps along with bleeding 10 days before my period was due, and still had my normal AF show up. I was very disappointed and cried the whole day. Best of luck though. Hope yours is real implantation.
