nipple stimulation
How many of you have used nipple stimulation to kick start labor and did it work?
I'm going to use my breast pump and try it. Hopefully it works. I'm already dialated 1.5 and over 50% effaced so hopefully this works!!
I've done it... I did one boob for 10 minutes rest for 5 and then the other boob... I did it for about an hour with my timer on watching tv. About 3 hours later I started having contractions and went to the hospital.. I was in early labor but my doctor stopped it cause I wasn't dilating.. I'm now 39 weeks and will try it again, hopefully I'm dilated. I was 38 weeks at the time
I was told to mimic the sucking of the baby because it releases a hormone that can induce labor
