Something to stock up on!
I know there are a lot of moms that are stocking up on things like toilet paper and other cleaning type things so that they have enough to get thru the first few months of our childrens lives. But something I don't believe is on any of the lists I have read is garbage bags! Im sure we are all aware of how many diapers a baby will go thru so our garbage bags will fill up fast. Plus there will be times where a diaper might stink so bad that we just have to take the bag out even if its not full. Lol. Just thought I'd put that out there so people dont forget something so important. :)
Yeah as a mommy of soon to be 3, garbage bags are a great idea! Bagging them 1st doesnt always keep the stink out and you gotta take a half full bag out!!
I figured there were people who completely forgot about garbage bags lol. We get so caught up in what we need for our babies that we tend to forget about the basic stuff for ourselves and homes.
OMG I forgot garbage bags!!! Thank you so much for this post! I have been couponing and shopping like crazy to get ready and totally forgot that!
@autumnsexpecting Ziploc bags would be a really good idea to keep in the diaper bag too for dirty diapers!
I know Walmart sells the bags to put diapers in but I feel like its a waste of money when I can just use shopping bags cause I get them all the time for free basically when I go shopping.
Yeah for dirty diapers I will probably use plastic shopping bags to tie them up in since I get lots of them all the time. They still take up room though in a garbage bag. Garbage bags are still nice to stock up on. One less thing you gotta worry about for awhile after baby is born.
Where i live you can actually buy nappy bags which are specially for nappies and they also come in different colours with fragrance
I recomend doggie bags for durty dipers there a life saver it keeps the stink from the diper closed up so when u throw them away you no longer smell it... then your not changing the trash so much just because it stinks
