Tell them its ur child not there's! They will get. The point :)
Thanks ladies I do try not to listen n.I know I.do.my best but it's hard when I.have an 'anything but supportive' mum, it's prob a gd.job I don't live with her! How do I tell people to keep there.nose out with there horrible words?!
Theres so many people who say "you have to do this" or that with your baby bc so many women seem to think how a child is raised is their business, and society for whatever reason has supported this thought process by setting standards for when women "have" to do something instead of letting the child go at their own pace. People are expecting their children to behave like adults before theyre even walking and its a shame. If your child is satisfactorily eating and learning by YOUR standards that should be all you worry about. Dont cave to pressure.
He's always given what he needs but sometimes I can't get him to use them
I am 23 and still eat some things with my hands... toddlers tend to be picky eaters. I agree with you, if he's eating the food on his plate who cares what he's eating it with. Table manners can be looked at in a couple years.
When I worked in a day care we had started teaching our 2 years to use a fork n spoon because this is the age they start learning n remembering things so its good to keep trying to teach him they learn by repeating so after a while our 2 year old wouldn't eat unless they had the right utensils ur not a bad parent if u don't but its always good to start teaching your child young cuz they learn by repeating #just my opinion
