Flu shot?

I'm 23 weeks and got my flu shot at my appointment today. I asked him if it was recommended because I was a little scared of it affecting my baby. XD Then I realized he wouldn't ask if I wanted it if it wasn't safe. He actually listed all these studies and FDA approvals and it made me feel better.

I get rotated through 3 doctors and he's the 2nd one I've seen. I've only ever seen one guy up until this point. I LOVE the nurse of the other one but this guy is AWESOME and I kinda hope he's the one on call when I'm in labor lol

So anyway, I'm not in the mood for the flu so I got the flu shot. I feel like I'm getting it kinda late in the season? Anyone else get their flu shot? If not, do you plan to?

I got one a week and a half ago and I'm 35 weeks. I kept putting it off until a pregnant lady in my area died from the flu. Definitely scared me into getting it

I got mine at like 13-15 weeks, I'm now 31 weeks and 1 day:) it does in fact protect the baby for the first 6 months after she is born ♡ cause they get their first flu vaccine at 6 months. I got the preservative free flu shot :D

I'm afraid of needles so I didn't want to get on but then they explained about the baby and how it will protect them to when he/she is born so I did decide to get one.

I haven't yet & I need to. My dr told me its safe & it will also stay with your baby for the first 6 months I believe is what she said & thats good because they can't get any flu shot when they are born
