I vote for Normal.. i had a vaginal delivery. its quicker recovery.  and sometimes with a c section you dont get to hold your baby right away. as to the normal birth the first thing they do is lay the baby on your belly the first sec its born.   its alot more rememberable trust me.. u dont want a  c section unless u have to.

Not to mention the permanent scar you'll have.

some woman would give anything to have a normal birth.  c sections are meant for emergencies only. only if its best for baby.

I know your scared and i was too, but trust me, you'll love giving birth naturally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I picked "normal".  Unless there is a medical reason, most doctors will not perform a C-section because it is your preference.  You are not alone in your fears, as most first time mothers are nervous about going through the labor process.  You have not been through it before and don't know what to expect.  My best advice would be to take birthing classes, so you are aware of the process, and know that you are able to get pain relief (either pain medications or an epidural), if this is what you choose to do.  Create a birthing plan, but be flexible in case you change your mind, should you decide to do things differently (for example, some mothers do not want pain relief, but then find they need it).

It is an amazing experience - - - good luck to you.

Normal all the way! I wouldnt have an Unecesary C/S due to the healing time and everything... Plus the hench scar I couldnt do it... If I NEED a CS I would have one.

I am scared of birth, its normal.

well yeah it's gonna be scary for us! But think of it this way - would you rather go through something nature intended and have your cervix do most the work for you OR have someone slice open your stomach and rip your kid out of you? I am voting for natural!

Some other things to consider is that with a c-section you have to sit in recovery for hours. 2 of my sister had a c-section and it took nearly 3 hours before they were able to leave recovery. In the meantime, everyone is at the nursery oohing and ahhing over their babies. Mom is sitting there alone, no one to talk to, and no baby to hold. Besides recovery being SO much faster with natural birth, you get to keep your baby instead of being lonely forever!

And remember there are MANY things we can do to help ease and control the pain. While not for everyone, being in water can help, breathing exercises help, there are pain meds to help, and even the coveted epidural helps. I hope you choose what is best for you! :)
