Gas pain after c-section

Has anyone experienced excruciating gas pains after a c-section? I'm having the worst 24hrs of my life, it's worse than labour...

Yes!!! Just had my fourth c-section 6 days ago! The trapped gas is the worst part of recovery I think! Walking helps!! Plus, I've found if you were given an abdominal binder in the hospital, don't wear it too much! It puts a lot of extra pressure on the stomach n makes the gas pains worse. Also, pop can make it worse too!! Adds extra bubbles to the bubbles already down there! Hope you feel better soon hun. :-)

Unfortunately totally normal and horrible xxxx I have had 3 csections and suffered every time but it does go within a few days xxxx

Take some gas x too!!! It will help!

Yes! The best advice I can give you is to walk as much as possible. When I had my son the nurses literally had me walk 10-15 minutes every hour. Depending on if I was up for it or not. They said the walking breaks up the gas that's trapped. Hope you feel better!
