Have had a Partial Historectomy but would like to have another baby.

I had an ovary removed in 2006 (due to cysts) and then my uterus removed in 2007 (because of a tumor).  I am now married to someone that we both would like to have a baby.  I still have one ovary so I still produce eggs.  I have read stories of transplants (uterus).  What are the chances, the procedures involved and the costs involved in doing this?

That would definitely be a question that only a doc would be able to help you with. You always stand the chance of rejecting an organ when you have a transplant, and there are no guarantees when it comes to that kind of thing. It seems to me that the less expensive thing would be to find a surrogate mother and use only of your eggs and sperm from your husband. It is still 100% your baby, just in a borrowed uterus.
