How far apart are your kids are you glad?

My hubby and I are trying to decide when to start ttc # 2 but just cant decide

My kids are less than a month from being 4 yrs apart. Neither of them were planned... But I was 14 & 18 when I had them..

I am now almost 33 and am pregnant again. This one was planned though. I am 8w5d. It's like starting all over again... It's going to be different tho than when I was 18!

So this last baby will be 15 yrs apart when born.

Ok I didn't vote becuase it will only let you vote one time....so I'll just tell you mine:

Oldest and next one are 7 years 5 days apart.  Pros:  my oldest could help out a lot more and is now able to baby sit.  Cons:  They are close but not as close as I'd like.

The next two are only 14 months apart:  Pros: they are VERY close...almost like twins, it really wasn't hard to have two in diapers.  Cons:  Sometimes I think they are TOO close...the older one acts like the younger one can't do anything on his own, she answers for himw hen you ask him a question, bosses him around, etc.

the next two were 3 years 11 months apart.  Pros:  The older one was old enough to understand bringing a new baby home.  He was really sweet and loving with him.    Cons:  because they are both boys...now that the younger one is older the older one is getting very territorial about EVERYTHING.  

I am now pregnant again.  There will be about 25 months between these two so we will see how that goes.

I don't think there is any one good age difference...it has a lot to do with the individual children and environmental factors as well.

mmmm seems like most people are happy with whatever! I think we are going to start ttc in april/may and hopefully have a baby in january or february of 2011....

my first and my second are 28 months apart and they get along great I loved the spacing, my 2nd and my 3rd are almost exactly 2 years apart birthdays within 2 weeks of each other and again I loved the spacing they can play together and get along for the most part and all 3 are within 4 years of each other, I recently found out I am pregnant again and due in Aug my youngest will be 33 months, so a little farther apart, but I still think they will be pretty close and not to far apart.

My boys are 16 months apart, and considering 1 is a newborn, I'm still trying to adjust. We're very happy to have our boys close in age but the first weeks/months are tough until we get some sort of schedule.

First two are 22 months apart. Littlest one is 31 months apart (2 1/2 years) from the next oldest sister.

Perfect for us! I think 2 years apart is a great spacing.
