3D 4D ultrasounds

my insurance says it covers it, has anyone had their insurance cover it before? I find it difficult finding a place that takes insurance

I worded that wrong.. you can call them to find local places that accept your insurance.

I agree though, it may be hard, because a lot of places want you to pay out of pocket.. just greedy!

most insurance companies don't cover it because it's considered an "elective procedure" UNLESS the doctor recommends it for a medical reason/necessity.

you should have an 800# you can call on the back of your insurance company's card to find out though..

Yeah before I had insurance I paid $50 to find out the gender because the stupid lady at the clinic wouldn't tell me unless I was aborting like who the f*** does that?!

Google a place. Ididnt have a insurance & iwent to a place where they do gender reveal & 2D,3D & 4D pictures. Of coarse it $ off your pocket but its worth it. My husband paid $50.

Lilimommy yeah most doctors have to reccomended it for it to be covered. But my insurance doesn't I really wish I could find a placE

I have total health care they cover 3D.

Ask your doctor. My insurance only covered it because the doctor recomended me.

I have united health care and they sent me a book saying what does and doesn't apply for me, and they cover 3D ultrasounds so now I really want to take advantage of it

I didn't think insurance covers the 3d ones.. Mine didn't. I paid 50 for my 3d
