Wow , thanks ladies this is all the confirmation that I needed. I know everyone is different but I'm not about to put myself at risk at all.
Mirena is what I had after my third child. Horrible mood swings, bled for 6 months, on & off about 3 day's in between. Not recommended at all. Plus with any complications, they don't tell you if you want it out insurance won't until 6 months later!
Same thing happened to my friend it got lost and she needed surgery with the risk of loosing her ovary and my other friend just had baby she got pregnant on it
Mine wasn't too good at all I had the mirena it became painful especially during sex. I decided to get it pulled out. My first period after was horrible. I lost so much blood I used 16 pads a day. For a whole week. My first pregnancy after I lost by miscarriage which also happened to 2 of my friends. And one of my cousins had the iud lost inside her when they found it it was in her ovary messed it up to where they had to remove it. In my opinion I wouldn't get it again. But then there are some people who have good experiences with it. I hope you find a birth control that suits you. Good luck!
I'm also curious about personal experiences!
