Omg im in love with the hospital ice chips its sooooo good its not hard its crunchy i can just eat it all day lol
I constantly crave ice but I'm not anemic, I asked my midwives about it since I was worried about it. Turns out it's a normal craving for pregnant, especially during the summer
Keep in mind that craving ice is an anemia symptom, you might need to jack up your iron intake. I ate ice all throughout my hospital stay after my C-section, and since even at the best of times I'm mildly anemic, I am sure after the surgery I was plenty anemic, based on how good the ice tasted.
It's crazy the hospital I go to really has good ice til your in labor then they give you them big chunks of ice that don't just melt in your mouth lol
