My boyfriend has asked me the same thing! it does seem kind of weird but i know lots of people even women who've tried breast milk
Its very normal my husband wanted to try it lol I let him go at it
I won't lie lol I tried mine and to me it was sweet. What ever you eat like salt or sour or sweet it would taste like that. My husband and I are expecting our second child but my 4th baby and last time he didn't want to try it and now he does.
I agree with teregarcalva; one experiment with the taste of breast milk is about enough.
My husband tried mine with my first and spit it out and said ot was way too sweet. Now he jokes that he's gonna take shots of it becaause of the ammino acids lol he's playing but maybe your husband is just curious. I've tried my milk lol never again though
Actually he's extremely normal! I've known more guys than not that have tasted their wives breastmilk. Now if he wanted to drink it all the time that I would find weird but him just being curious and wanting a taste isn't weird. My hubby never wanted to taste mine but he did want to squeeze them and see if he could get the milk to squirt out lol. Guys are like big toddlers sometimes lol.
Is your problem that you think your fiance wants to taste the milk for erotic reasons and that seems like a mixed message? Keep in mind that he just might be curious what breast milk tastes like. You could ask him that. If he wants to try it just to see how it tastes, you'll probably have a pump, right? or be able to hand-express a little into a cup, and just give it to him. If he insists he wants to try it "from the source," you might think he's doing it for erotic reasons, and that is why it is bothering you? Ask him. If it is an erotic interest, then think over how you feel about that. Neither thing seems particularly problematic to me, but I'm not you. A lot of times, older kids in a family are curious when they see the baby nursing and want to know what it tastes like, and many times the mom just handles it by giving them some in a cup.
Breasts have become so sexualized that I think that is what makes it weird to some people. At least maybe give it a try. You never know. We are mammals so we do make breast milk for a reason. I have breastfed 8. My youngest is 3 months old. BUT I am not judging. People need to feed their babies how they feel comfortable. I think it's great that you fiance is being supportive though. So I say, give it a try and go from there. Good luck!
