Implantation bleeding... how long does it last??

Recently I asked a question regarding implantation bleeding. I had spotting (pinkish and light brown) for just one day and then it went away, and I wanted to know what the chances are that it was implantation bleeding. This happened to me last week on Thurs. afternoon through Fri. morning and then it just vanished! I didn't have another spot until yesterday, Friday, a whole week later!! Again I had the very light spotting (only when I wiped), it lasted half a day and vanished again! This morning I did a HPT and I'm still getting a BFN, I've done 3 tests in the past week. It is now Saturday afternoon and I'm so confused, anxious and more than anything FRUSTRATED!!! Is it possible that implantation lasts a week?? Has anyone ever had these symptoms or have any clue what could be going on with me. If it's possible that it is implantation bleeding shouldn't I already be getting a BFP?? thanks so much...

I also had spotting (my periods are very regular). I tested three times with HPT and got mixed results so I just went to my doc and got a blood test. My suggestion would be for you to go to your doctor and get tested. Best to you.
Thanks.... but I am late on my period... my LMP was 2/17! But I am very irregular so it is normal for me to be late. That's why I'm so clueless! :( And as irregular as my periods have been, I have never had something like this happen before!

No, you gatta wait till your period doesn't come... like when you're period is due and does come.
But your best results will come if you wait a week after you miss your period.
But it does sound like implantation bleeding.
I never had that happen to me.
The only time I spotted was from 8weeks to 9 1/2 weeks... and I haven't bled since.
but yeah, I would wait a week after your period is late so you have a better chance of getting a good test result.
