Painful lol but I didn't was able to make it without an epidural...I was in labor 14 hours
I was in labor but not progressing. Started getting contractions at 130 am,they broke,my water around noon, i got epidural and pitocin around 3 and had him at 9 29 pm
I mean to say in less than two hours i was pushing my baby boy out
I was with my second child i was already 6cm they put pitocin in me and in last than two hours i was already pushing iam not goin to lie it was very painful with no epi
My experience wasn't great either. With my first had to be induced with just pitocin. Made his heart rate keep dropping so they took me off of it for a few hours. I was in labor for 24 hrs and pushed for two.
I was and I was in labor for more than 48 hours the pitocin did nothing for me except give me contractions? I dialated to 3 and then went back down to one over the 48 hour period. My water broke but I got an infection and ran a fever. My pelvis was also way too small for the baby so I was rushed into a c-section. My experience with pitocin was horrible but it was just my body. I'm sure you'll have an easiee time with it.
I am in the hospital right now with pitocin. I started at 3cm when I came in at 4 this morning. Its now 2 in the afternoon and I'm at 5cm with contractions every 2-3 minutes. Let me tell ya.... get an epidural! It will be your best friend! :)
im curious about this to. was anyone dilated or effaced before being induced? if so by how much?
I have with all three of my kids and I will be with this one. I can't really compare it to anything else because that's all I've ever had, but everything worked out fine
I was... It was my second child and from start to finish I labored 5 hours with no epi... It really wasn't all that bad.
