Just a vent

So im 12 weeks pregnant and my boyfriend and I have been thinking about names a lot, and for a girl I loved the name Juliet Kathleen, and he doesnt really like the middle name, and finally gave in but not without telling me it is this girl whom i found in his phone with hearts next to her name, which he insists are old, but either way. That was the name I wanted so it could be named after my aunt, and it really just bothers me that he would ruin it for me like that, and he new it would.

Maybe you could consider translating Kathleen into another language, and using it with Juliet.  That way, it would not sound like the name of an ex to your boyfriend, and you could still tell your aunt it is in her honor.  For example, in Gaelic, Kathleen translates as Caitlin.  Juliet Caitlin is pretty.

I think it's a good sign that he didn't want the baby to be named after an old girlfriend.  I'd be more worried if he did want the baby to be named after someone who has hearts next to her name.

Thing is, you're not the only person who has a right to weigh in on the name of the child.  He is the father, as important a role as yours.
