Karo syrup

I was reading remedies on constipation for babies and came across giving baby karo syrup in bottle once a day have any of u ladies trued this for your babies? Or what else can I give my baby when he gets constipated?

I read about the brown sugar also..we live in a very small town there is only a clinic no hospital here and
I've asked his doctor about what to give him when hes constipated she just keeps telling me not to worry that its normal for babies she told me the same thing about some rashes baby was getting on his face and neck I wasn't comfortable so I went to the city an hour away to the hospital they prescribed him a lotion for the rashes and they're completely gone I'm just waiting for his medicaid to get approved to switch to get a pediatrician for him

My son's peds Dr recommended a pinch of brown sugar in his bottle once a day and it Def helped ! He was 6 wks when Dr told me to do this
